Even with just 6 people, a nerf gun war is super fun!! The guns are cheap and so are the bullets! If you need more bullets, just pick up the used ones from the ground! It's just like playing a First Person Shooter in real life. Plus it's an excellent workout!

The best way to play out in a park is:
Capture the flag!
Each team has a flag
When you're shot, you have to go to a designated "respawn point" tag it and run back into battle!

If we wanted to do it in a mall or something:
Counter Strike style(but I'll put it into more PG13 friendly terms)
One team is the tagging team and has to find the treasure
One team is the hiding team and hides/protects the treasure
Once you're tagged out, you go to a "jail" where you have to be released by a teammate.

I think this would also be a great idea because it's safe and kid friendly.

The pool noodle fight is a cleaner alternative where bullets won't be all over the place. But sometimes they can hurt D:

Here, if you really want to do this, get your friends to come on here. I'm originally from Michigan so I don't have too many friends from San Diego. Plus it seems like this group is really inactive so we'll probably just have to arrange it ourselves. I tried doing a friend request for their myspace but they've never added me.

Hi there, new here. The Nerf war sounds like a fun idea! I think we should do it. If you can't rustle up enough people on here, I can get a number of people through our steampunk events blog. Steampunks love Nerf guns! I'll add you on myspace. Please post if you organize something soon.

Alright, well. I think I know what day might be good to do it on. It's around the beginning of the month and that's when I'm gonna need my stress relief.

So, June 6th would be perfect. 6th day of the 6th month haha! Let's say 12 pm for the meeting time.

The location is going to be Chollas Heights, it's got some good battle ground options.

The rules will be Capture the Flag style. Everyone will wear either Red or Blue. When you are shot, you must run back to a "respawn" point so that way you can go back into the battle! Respawn points will be marked with the team's color ribbon tied around a tree. Whoever captures the flag and returns it to their base wins!
